Do I need to pay a deposit to book a tattoo?
Yes! We require a booking fee (deposit) on ALL tattoo bookings. If booked online you have 48 hours from the time of booking to bring the deposit in or the appointment will be cancelled. (Please note all deposits are non-refundable under ANY circumstances).
Can I get a tattoo if I am under 18 years old?
No, sorry. It is illegal in the UK to tattoo anyone under 18 (Tattooing of Minors act 1969) We will ask for I.D if you look under 25 so please bring it with you as you will lose your deposit if we ask for I.D and you don't have it on you. We only accept Full/Provisional driving licence OR a valid passport. No other forms of I.D will be accepted.
What age can I get pierced?
This varies for the piercing that you want.
Lobes - 8yrs+ with parental consent. 16+ if alone.
Top ear - 10yrs+ with parental consent. 16+ if alone.
Other ear 12yrs+ with parental consent. 16+ if alone.
Belly (navel), Nose - 13+ with parental consent. 16+ if alone.
Scaffold, Septum, Eyebrow, Lip, Smiley - 14+ yrs with parental consent. 16+ if alone.
Tongue, Cheeks - 16+yrs
Nipple - 18+ (I.D may be required)
Dermal's - 18+ (I.D may be required)
How much will my tattoo cost?
This will depend entirely on what you want done, where on the body, the size that you want the tattoo and which artist you book with. It really does vary.
What are the basic costs?
Our minimum charge is £50 (£60 for hands, fingers, necks, feet)
Do you sell gift vouchers?
We do. Gift Vouchers are available all year round, perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas etc. All vouchers are valid for 1 year from purchase and can be used as deposits. (Please note vouchers are non-refundable and must be used by the expiry date).
Can I bring someone with me to my piercing/tattoo appointment?
Yes you can bring someone with you whilst you get tattooed or pierced but you can only take 1 person into the tattoo or piercing room as space is limited so please bare this in mind.
Do you use numbing on tattoos/piercings?
No, sorry we don't. You can purchase your own numbing cream from a pharmacy and apply it before attending your tattoo session (follow package instructions) but please bare in mind it can affect how the ink stays in the skin and will make you exempt from the touch up charge, possibly costing you more in the long run. We do not recommend attempting to numb yourself for a piercing.
Do you use a gun for piercing?
No, we only use needles. This is due to the guns not being able to be cleaned to a high enough standard for our studio as they can't be sterilised. It also uses blunt force to pierce the ear/nose causing trauma.
Are your inks vegan safe?
Yes. We are a vegan safe studio using all vegan approved products.
Can I be tattooed/pierced whilst pregnant?
Sorry we don't pierce or tattoo when you are pregnant. (We also don't tattoo or pierce when nursing)
Can you design my tattoo for me?
Yes we can. We design tattoos free of charge BUT you must be booked in with a deposit paid before the artists will do a design for you.
Is there anyone I can talk to about my design?
You can book a free consultation with an artist to talk about your idea if you want to discuss it in person.
Can I just walk in for a tattoo or piercing on the day?
Piercings - Yes you can walk in anytime between 10am - 5.30pm (latest arrival 4-4.30pm)
Tattoos -We rarely have walk in spaces for tattoos and strongly advise booking in advance.
Can you ring me if there's a tattoo cancellation?
As we have so many people who want a cancellation space we do not contact people, we list them on our Facebook page so that people interested can message us to try and move your appointment forward.
Can I bring my kids with me to my appointment?
You can't bring children with you to a tattoo appointment so please find a sitter for them.
Children 8+ are allowed in the studio if being pierced.
No under 18's are allowed in the tattoo room.
All appointments made are legally bound by the booking terms & conditions and by making an appointment you are agreeing to these terms.
Appointments & Booking Fees
All tattoo appointments require a booking fee (deposit) to secure the appointment. The booking fee will vary upon the length of the session booked.
The booking fee (deposit) is not an extra charge and is included in the total price.
If you have multiple sessions booked you must roll the deposit over each time and pay in full on each session. The deposit can only be used on the last session. If you need to use your deposit before the last session any other appointments you have booked in will be cancelled.
All booking fees (deposits) are non refundable under any circumstances (including illness/unforeseen circumstances etc) Please bare this in mind before booking.
Booking fees (deposits) cannot be transferred to another person and can only be used by the original client.
Cancelling or Rescheduling
We require 72 hours notice to reschedule your appointment. Failure to give at least 72 hours notice will result in you losing your booking fee (deposit).
If you wish to cancel your appointment completely you will lose your booking fee (deposit).
If you cannot get your tattoo done due to medical reasons e.g: You find out you are pregnant, you are diagnosed with an illness that means you are unable to be tattooed in the immediate future etc we can put your booking fee (deposit) on hold for 12 months ready for when you are able to rebook. (72 hours notice still required)
If you change your mind and decide you are unsure about your original design choice we can put your booking fee (deposit) on hold for 6 months to give you time to decide. (72 hours notice still required)
If you do not show up on the day of your appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours notice you will lose your booking fee and be required to pay in full, in advance, to be able to make any future bookings.
Designs are done for free and the artists will make one small change to the design for free if need be.
If you want more changes made you will start to incur varied drawing fees which will be added onto the total price of your tattoo. Please be as clear as possible about your idea when booking to minimise changes and cost.
A complete change of the design to something else less than 1 week before your appointment date or major changes to the design sent will result in you losing your booking fee (deposit) and possibly require rebooking of the appointment. Please make sure you are 100% sure on what you want done before booking.
Our artists will not copy someone else's tattoo as we are a custom studio and design everything individually for each client where possible. They will try their best to keep as close to your original idea as possible but please understand it will not look exactly the same as the tattoo photo you used as reference so please bare this in mind when booking.
Designs are sent to you the night before your appointment for approval. The Artists draw in order of the appointments booked so please be patient, they will not be sent any earlier than this.
When you leave the studio aftercare is your responsibility. Please follow the aftercare advice given to you properly. Failure to follow the advice carefully could result in a badly healed tattoo and will be exempt from a touch up, costing you more in the long run.
Touch ups have a £10 charge to cover supply costs and must be done within 3 months of the original tattoo date. Touch ups to finger/hand/feet/neck tattoos have a £20 charge.
If you applied numbing cream before getting your tattoo and you have lost ink during healing you will be exempt from the touch up charge and be charged according to how much work needs redoing instead as we do not advise applying numbing cream due to the way it can affect the ink going into the skin. Please bare this in mind before applying numbing to yourself as this will be at your own risk and possible extra cost.
Touch ups after the 3 month period will be charged depending how much needs doing.
Adding to the design/wanting it darker/changed in any way will be classed as a new appointment and does not come under a touch up.
Gift vouchers can be used towards tattoos as a booking fee (deposit) or payment on the day of the tattoo appointment.
The tattoo appointment must take place before the expiry date on the gift voucher. No exceptions.
Please note gift vouchers are non refundable under any circumstances.
It is your responsibility to make sure you use your voucher before it expires. If you leave it too close to the expiry date to get an appointment in time the voucher date will not be extended.
You must be 18 years or older to be tattooed under UK law.
By making an appointment you understand that you must be over 18 years. Parental consent for minors under 18 years is not legal in the UK.
Please bring I.D with you on the day of your appointment. If we ask you for I.D and you don't have any you will lose your appointment slot and booking fee (deposit).
We only accept Valid Passport or Provisional/Full UK driving licence.
Refusal Of Services
We have the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
If you appear intoxicated we will not tattoo or pierce you. This also applies if you come to the studio smelling of alcohol or illegal substances.
We will not tolerate rudeness or aggression towards our staff and you will be asked to leave the studio immediately if you behave in an unacceptable manner.
